Is this an official Rwanda government website?
No. RwandaBusinessSetup.com is an independent practical guide and inquiry site. We are not affiliated with the Government of Rwanda, the Rwanda Development Board, or any official registration body. For official services, use sources such as RDB (rdb.rw), the Rwanda Revenue Authority (rra.gov.rw) and Irembo (irembo.gov.rw).
Are you a law firm?
No. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. Where appropriate, we can point serious inquiries toward qualified local legal professionals.
Are you an accounting or tax advisor?
No. We are not accountants or tax advisors and do not provide tax advice. Tax and accounting questions should be confirmed with a qualified professional and the Rwanda Revenue Authority.
Can you register my company?
No, we do not register companies. Company and business registration in Rwanda is handled through the Rwanda Development Board (Office of the Registrar General). We help you understand the questions to ask and, where appropriate, introduce you to local professionals.
Can foreigners start a business in Rwanda?
Many foreign founders, investors and organizations operate in Rwanda. Specific eligibility, requirements and permits should be confirmed through official sources (such as RDB and the Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration) and qualified local advisors. Can you introduce me to local professionals?
